Mike Fortner, currently Mayor of West Chicago, is a candidate for State Representative for the 95th District of Illinois. The 95th District represents parts of Batavia, Geneva, North Aurora, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, Winfield, and a few people in Naperville.

As Mayor, Mike Fortner has improved city services without raising the total city property tax dollars paid by homeowners. West Chicago now has more police on the street and a state-of-the-art water treatment facility providing high quality drinking water.

In addition to his public service, Mike Fortner is an accomplished researcher and analyst who brings a high level of professionalism and discipline to his work. No current member of the Illinois House has such an extensive scientific and analytical background.
